As a community-taught artist and lifelong learner, I’ve embraced a variety of art forms throughout my life. Then the pandemic offered me a chance to focus on painting.

My artistic inspiration often comes from my collection of vintage family photos from the 40s to the 90s. I use blind contour drawings as a starting point, allowing their spirit to guide my choices in color, composition, and medium.

My recent move from the Pacific Northwest to South Carolina has me eager to see how this new culture and environment will influence my art in 2025 and beyond.
